Wizard West Bounty Guide

Right, let’s explain both sides, getting a bounty, and hunting bounty.

How Do You Get A Bounty?

You get a Bounty on your Wizard West character if you do anything that upsets the Ministry Of Light. That can be one of the following.

  • Attacking Ministry caravans guarded by infantry. (The area will be marked with a red barrier, crossing it triggers a bounty.)
  • Stealing from banks. (These are marked with a red $ icon on your HUD.)

When you incur a bounty, it will appear next to your money count, marked with a skull icon. This means other players may start hunting you. Don’t think you can hide in safe zones either. Other players can still deal PVP damage against you if you have a Bounty.

How To Hunt For Bounties

If you want to live the life of a lawman with a big iron, or at least a magic wand on your hip, you can hunt players with bounties instead. You can tell if a player has a bounty, because they’ll be marked with a red skull icon on your HUD. If you see an outlaw and want to bring them in, there are two ways to do it.

  • Deplete their health completely and you’ll receive their Dead Bounty. The fallen player will respawn in the town jail and lose their trinkets carried.
  • Catch them with a lasso spell, then pick them up and take them off to jail. This will net you the better Alive Bounty.
